Armadillo King is a four piece band from Nyköping, Sweden. The band was founded by singer and songwriter Henning Ejnefjäll. The first singles “Grave of fools”, “Borrowed time” and “Deadwood rye” was released by Henning himself back in early 2021. By the time our first album “A drifters tale” was released (April 2022) Armadillo King had grown into a full band.
The sound of Armadillo King has been described as ‘Americana Noir”. This phrase was coined on the back of a positive review we received on our debut album in 2022.
Our second album “Forever with me” was released in May 2023 and our third album “Revivals” in October 2024. Our albums have been listed among the top 100 best releases of 2022, 2023 and 2024 in the genre Americana/Alternative country respectively. Thank you… Stay tuned for more!
